SD-WAN Configuration for Internet Failover With Two Connections | WAN1 & WAN2 | FortiGate 80D

I needed a backup connection and I used SD-WAN to set up the two internet connection and make sure that I will not be disconnected during meetings anymore.

Hello guys,

As many if you probably are, since March 2020, I have been mostly been working from home and it is not a secret that having a good internet connection is a must. But having a good internet might not be sufficient because all connection fails at some point.

That is why I decided to add a new internet connection (20 Mbps cable internet) on top of current connection (Fiber Gigabit).

Watch the following video to see how I configure SD-WAN on my FortiGate 80D to be able top use these two links and be failover if my primary link fails.

Thank you,

Guy
